From Sea to Shining Sea: a Tour of North America
Stockbridge Plain School, Grade 4, Jessica Redman, Ginny Passetto, Kathleen Gillis, Susan Coles, Connie Dombrowski, 80 students

Integrate computer and web-based technology as a means of acquiring, using, and sharing with teachers, students and parents a new curriculum based on the geography and people of the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. (wireless router, four laptops, LCD projector)


Integrating Probeware in Middle School Science
Searles Middle School, Grades 7-8, Melissa Farrell, Randy Koldys, Carole Aberdale, 200 students

Offer students the opportunity to collect real time data and observe subtle changes through the use of science probes, and to organize data graphically. (one laptop, LCD projector, various PASCO probeware and software)

Music Technology Lab
MMRHS, Grades 9-12, Robert Kelly, Jeffrey Stevens, Robert Putnam, 100 students

Enable students to work at piano keyboards connected to computers, to study music theory and play, compose, and arrange independently or under the guidance of the teacher. (6 keyboard stations, one iBook, one LCD projector)


Projecting and Recording Visual Images

MMRHS, Grades 9-12, Linnea Macé, Krista Kennedy, Neel Webber, 600 students

Access and present organized images for lesson plans and demos, allow students to present PowerPoint research projects, record student artwork, and illustrate visual concepts and ideas inherent in the Art curriculum. (2 ceiling mounted LCD projectors and 2 digital cameras)

Using Technology in the Production of Science Lab Reports
MMRHS, Grades 9-12, Elizabeth Roberts, Celeste Drumm, Nancy King, Diane Wespiser, Lisa Baldwin, Hans Teutsch, 120 students

Students use digital cameras to document lab activities, to supplement standard lab reports in class presentations, and to incorporate totally digital reports in the science department web pages as examples of the lab activities performed in different courses. (2 laptops, 3 digital cameras, 1 digital camcorder, 1 LCD projector, 6 workshop tuitions)
