About Me
I was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, which now has a wonderful National
Park that shows what it was like to be a working immigrant in the late
1800's. We then moved to Nashua, New Hampshire, which is where I
began school. Here is a picture of me in first grade.
Eventually, we settled in Hollis, New Hampshire , and my sister was
born when I was 10. She now goes to Bentley College. I graduated
from Hollis AREA High School and moved onto Boston College .
I graduated from Boston College with a degree in Political Science and
Irish Studies. After college, I came out to the Berkshires to try
teaching. I began my teaching career at The DeSisto School
and then moved onto Reid Middle School in Pittsfield . I got
my Masters in Education from Cambridge College . I am now teaching
social studies at Monument Mountain Regional High School, which is in the
Berkshire Hills Regional School District . Here is a picture of me
today:, when I recieved one of the Berkshire Hills Technology Grants.
My husband's name is Jason and he owns Animal House Pet Sitting.
As many of you know, I had a baby last year. Her name is Sophie Emma
Shron. She is absolutely the best baby. We have had a great time
with her, and she can just melt my heart with one smile. Here is a
pictures of her - isn't she cute???
My hobbies include playing golf , hiking , and reading.
